April 8, 2008 : American United Logistics has been selected to receive the prestigious 2008 National Defence Transportation association ( NDTA ) Quality Award ( formerly known as the SDDC Quality Award ). AUL is one of only ten companies to receive this award in 2008.

Nominees are submitted by Department of Defense shippers and reviewed by an NDTA panel. AUL was nominated by 595th Transportation Terminal Group.

April 19, 2007: American United Logistics Unloads Railcars in South Port, Umm Qasr-Iraq

American United Logistics received 20 railroad flat cars from the Iraq Railroad. AUL unloaded, staged, and secured 40 containers for Multi-National Forces-Iraq. This was the first railroad shipment into our secure facility in South Port, Umm Qasr. “It is very exciting to have the Iraq Railroad transporting cargo to South Port” stated Neil Young Operations Manager. “This will increase the flow of cargo into our secured staging facility, providing our customers with another mode of transportation to move their cargo.”



March 1, 2007: Arifjan Container Repair Facility (ADLR) Named Geo Loc of the Month

American United Logistics's container repair facility has been selected as Geo Loc of the Month. In cooperation with SSG Michael Alsup and SPC Bruce May, the Container Handler geo-location (ADLR) has been running at maximum efficiency. See the complete article. March 4, 2007: American United Logistics selected to receive the SDDC Quality Award

American United Logistics is the recipient of the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) Quality Award for 2006. This prestigious award will be presented to AUL at SDDC Training Symposium in Orlando, Florida.
